Just Us and Art

Art, conversations, and friends

Anke Weyer

(b. 1974, Karlsruhe, Germany) creates large-scale oil and acrylic canvases that embody physical expression through bodily action - a dance of controlled gestures and dynamic forms. Each mark balances spontaneity with discipline in an orchestration that reveals a profound exchange between the body’s movements and the mind’s imagination, where control and instinctive freedom coexist in layered textures and dynamic rhythms, like scores of visual music.

Aidas Bareikis

(b.1967, Vilnius.Lithuania) threads personal memories, natural forms, and ultraterrestrial visions into drawings that are both tangled and lucid. His compositions are strong structures built on delicate tension - intense yet fragile - where pain bleeds into joy, and chaos reveals itself as agitated order. Fluid images flicker in and out of focus, echoing the wondrous unease and precise confusion of a restless mind’s gaze. Each work is a sensory eruption; disorienting, raw, and impossible to ignore.
