Up NOW
A series of informal gatherings centered around friends, art, and conversation, hosted at our private barn in the countryside. This is a personal occasion to spend time together with people who care about art - a chance to look, talk, and enjoy art in a relaxed, down-to-earth setting.
This ongoing series brings together artists whose work speaks not just through form and technique, but through what it has to say - art that thinks, sparks thinking, and communicates, rather than merely illustrating or decorating. We believe in the power of art to inspire reflection, start conversations, and build meaningful connections.
For this inaugural gathering, we are happy to share works by Anke Weyer and Aidas Bareikis.
Their approaches differ, yet both arrive at something raw and deeply felt. There is a strong presence in their work, a physical urgency, a sense that thought moves through the body before it ever reaches their preferred tool. Their use of color is fearless and full of energy; their compositions instinctive and alive.
They move with ease between order and disorder, between control and abandon, letting structure dissolve just enough to allow the unexpected in. The work doesn’t resolve, it vibrates, unsettles, invites.
The rest is for the viewer to discover
